Our Mission Statement
"To empower young athletes to develop the skills, mindset, and confidence needed to succeed in sports, business, and life."
Our Vision
To become the leading summer camp program in Louisiana that merges athletic development with business education, building a generation of confident, resilient, and competent leaders.
Our Motto
"Train Like an Athlete, Think Like a CEO."
This motto reflects the camp’s mission to prepare kids not only to succeed in sports but also to develop the mindset of a competent leader and entrepreneur. Just as athletes need to master discipline, teamwork, and resilience on the court, future business leaders need to sharpen these same skills along with problem-solving, decision-making, and innovation. Our program teaches kids to apply the same hustle they develop in sports to real-world business challenges, helping them to grow into confident and competent leaders.
Who Am I?
My name is Jadon Johnson, and I’m the founder and head coach of Athletic Businessmen. I’m a 21-year-old entrepreneur from Louisiana who started my first business at just 14 years old. My business is Sportzzheads, where I sell sports necklaces for athletes. Over the years, I’ve built and developed this business to the brink of success, learning firsthand the importance of leadership, connections, and resilience.
Alongside my business experience, I’ve always had a deep passion for sports. I’ve seen how the skills developed in sports, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and competitive drive translate directly into success in business and life. This inspired me to create Athletic Businessmen, a camp where young athletes can develop their athletic skills and the business mindset needed to succeed beyond sports. My goal is to teach kids how to compete, strategize, and lead, whether on the court or in the conference room.
From a young age, I’ve always believed in the power of sports and community. That’s why I’ve been actively involved in my local community, volunteering to help kids develop on and off the court.
I’ve had the privilege of coaching youth basketball, teaching the fundamentals of the game and the importance of teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Seeing the growth and excitement in young athletes has inspired me to create Athletic Businessmen.
My experience in coaching and community work has taught me that success isn’t just about winning; it’s about building character, learning from setbacks, and developing the skills needed to thrive. Athletic Businessmen is my way of teaching and helping the next generation succeed.
